Prior to going Gluten-Free one of my favorite pre and post run bars were made by Gnu Foods. Gnu bars, are made from natural ingredients, packs a whopping 12 grams of fiber per and each bar is between 130-140 calories, which comes out to around 50% of the daily fiber. These bars definitely helped my GI issues.
The bars come in nine different flavors, and three new dessert-inspired flavors (blueberry cobbler, blondie, and carrot cake) that were recently added to the line up. These are the best high fiber low-calorie bars that I have ever tried. My favorite flavors are the blondie and chocolate. I mean seriously who ever heard of a health bar that is called blondie and it tastes amazing. It’s like eating cake and you don’t even feel guilty about eating them.
