Motivation Monday

Happy Monday!! Motivation Monday this week is all about fresh starts. It has been almost two weeks since I slipped on my running shoes and hit the pavement. With 107 days until the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend and I participate in the Goofy Race and a Half Challenge. One my wonder how am I going to accomplish this since l have taken a brief hiatus from running. The last two weeks have not been easy and I recognize that I need to practice what I preach. What I cannot personally do today I have to remember there is always tomorrow. Sometimes people simply need a fresh start. For me personally I feel that it is important to shift the focus a little, make a few tweaks, and move forward. Focus on what’s actually working. Today I am starting a new 16 week marathon training and to me it is just like starting over.

  1. I love starting a new training plan. It does feel kind of like starting over…but I think it’s good for your body’s recovery to start out slow and work back up. Good luck! You’re going to do great! And you totally deserved that break from running!!!
