September Monthy Goal Rewind & October Goals

Please pinch as I am in shock that there is only 3 months left of the year and exactly 3 months till my favorite holiday, my birthday! September was a really chaotic month both physically and mentally. I am hoping that the next three months will be a little kinder to me!!

Let’s take a look back at my September Goals and see how I did…

1.) Follow the Goofy Race and a Half Training Schedule: (B-) Due to health reasons I had to take a short hiatus from running and now I am back and hoping that I will be able to meet this goal in October!

2.) Read 2 more Books: (B+) I finished reading Sarah’s Key by Tatiana de Rosnay and am almost finished with dare I say it, Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James.

3.) Sync my Garmin: (B+) I am getting much, much better at this and I think that this is more of a long-term goal that I will continually need to be cognisance of.

4.) Tune in Tune out: (B) What can I say, I’m a multi-tasker and I have a hard time unplugging!

5.) Join a new running group: (D+) I connected with a great running group online, that should count for something right? But I did not actually meet with the new running group due scheduling conflicts and illness. Hoping to make this happen in October.

Getting Back on Track & ♥-ing it!!

Which brings me to my October Goals, which I think that I might need to make them more obtainable, more short-term than long-term.

1.) Follow the Goofy Race and a Half Training Schedule: See September Goals.

2.) Join a new running group: See September Goals.

3.) Read one book: I love reading and I have always loved reading I am foreseeing that this is going to be a busy month, but I need to find the time to relax and unwind.

4.) Cook dinner at home at least 3 night a week: In my heart I am a baker, I have been baking since I was a toddler sitting on the counter holding a bowl in my lap. I admit that I am not a chef, yes I am better at re-heating, but a girl has got to learn to how to cook. I promise to not only cook, but share with you healthy recipes, that are not only nutritious, but gluten-free too!
