Week 18 Marathon Training Recap

Eleanor Roosevelt once said that, “you gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the things which you think you cannot do.” I did just that last Monday as I blew past the 13 mile mark and ran straight to 15 miles. I now have the confidence to continue my training to be fully ready for Goofy 2013. At this moment in time I finally fells that both my head and my heart are on the same page.  What an amazing and refreshing feeling!

Here is how I did this week….

Monday: 15 mile run… I finally did it! 🙂 

Tuesday: rest

Wednesday: cross train bike 30 minutes.

Thursday: rest

Friday: ran 5 miles and cross train around Disneyland and 5 mile run

Saturday: ran 4 miles

Sunday: rest

    • Kat best of luck to you at your first half marathon! If you can run 14 miles you can definitely run 13.1 miles! You are going to ROCK!!
