Let’s first take a look back at January’s Goals and see how I did…
1.) Finish Goofy in the upright position: (A+) Goofy Weekend was AMAZING! Mission accomplished! I finished in the upright position and I had a smile on my face, I even asked race officials when I can sign up for next year. I couldn’t be prouder of finishing my first marathon in under 6 hours. This was definitely a weekend to remember.
2.) Pile on the Miles: (A+) Between running Goofy weekend and Tinker Bell Half Marathon I went above and beyond my goal of running 40 miles!
3.) Stretch: (B+) Success! I don’t think that I could have succeeded with races back to back days and weekends that I could have survived without stretching. Stretching is always a work in progress and can always be improved upon so a B+ is in order.
4.) Meditate: (C+) Does mediating 3 times a week count as progress? I will try to work on this in February.
Now here are my goals for February…
1.) Food Journal: I think that one is really clear. It holds me accountable and keeps me on track!
2.) Blog More: January kind of slipped away and I was not able to blog as much as I liked. I am aiming to blog at least 4 times a week, if not more.
3.) Race Schedule: I am currently going through race withdrawal and I am needing some serious motivation. Hammering out my race schedule should the trick!
4.) Run: Running is one of my favorite activities, my goal this month is to simply run! I intend on going out for at least 3 runs a week and I want to enjoy each and every mile!
5.) Fuel: Without a race in my near future now is the perfect time to discover additional race day fueling options. I currently take apple sauce with to me to races and I don’t necessarily have enough space in my SpiBelt to carry the amount of apple sauce that I need. I need to find small more compact items to take along for the run.
And that’s that! February’s goals in a nut shell! Keeping on dreaming and setting goals! Here is to another amazing month in 2013!
QOTD: Do you have any goals for February?
