Monthly Goals: March 2013

Well my friends we have made to it March! I can’t believe that we are three months into the new year already. Time really does fly! If you have figured out how to make time stand still please let me know! I have to be honest it feels as though February swallowed me up. It was a very difficult month emotionally, mentally, and physically. Needless to say I did not accomplish nearly as much as I wanted to accomplish. With that being said, I am rolling February’s goals in March as I feel that I all goals need a lot of work! I am adding one new goal, but besides that everything is staying the same. 
Dressing up for a runNow here are my goals for March…

1.) Food Journal: I think that one is really clear. It holds me accountable and keeps me on track!

2.) Blog More: January kind of slipped away and I was not able to blog as much as I liked. I am aiming to blog at least 4 times a week, if not more.

3.) Race Schedule: I am currently going through race withdrawal and I am needing some serious motivation. Hammering out my race schedule should do the trick!

4.) Run: Running is one of my favorite activities, my goal this month is to simply run! I intend on going out for at least 3 runs a week and I want to enjoy each and every mile!

5.) Fuel: Without a race in my near future now is the perfect time to discover additional race day fueling options. I currently take apple sauce with to me to races and I don’t necessarily have enough space in my SpiBelt to carry the amount of apple sauce that I need. I need to find small more compact items to take along for the run.

  1. I was feeling the same way about needing some race motivation. Looks like my big “fall” race is going to be the runDisney Wine and Dine =) Noting motivates me like a trip to Disney!
