This year is going by way too fast! I personally love being able to run outdoors this time of year. To me the weather is just perfect. I don’t need to many layers and I am able to simply lace up and go. I am so excited that April is here it is going to be an AMAZING month! Being that it is the first of the month it is time to set some new goals. First let’s take a look back and see how I did with my March Goals.
1.) Food Journal: (B-) While I must admit this really important so days I either forgot to journal or I dined out and could not figure out how to record what I ate so I lost my food journaling mojo! All and all I think that I did really well with this goal.
2.) Blog More: (B) My life seems to be getting more and more busy, but I think that I am doing a great job staying on top of my blog.
3.) Race Schedule: (C) While I have a good idea of which races I want to participate in I need to roll this goal into April and continue to hammer out my schedule.
4.) Run: (A) I am starting to find the pure joy in running again and that was my main goal! Success!!
5.) Fuel: (B) While I purchased various “Fuels” I ate them as snacks, not fuel while training. So far what I purchased was really good, now I need to try them out while running!
Now let’s take a look at my goals for April.
1.) Stretch: I think that every runner should be stretching and it is very easy to forget to stretch! This month I WILL be stretching!
2.) Blog More: I really like to include this in my “Goals” as it make me more accountable!
3.) Race Schedule: Roll over see March Goals.
4.) Training Practices: I recently joined Team Challenge to raise money for Crohn’s and Colitis and I want to attend each and every Saturday practice. It is a great group of people and I look forward to the opportunity to run with them.
